small fix for smart/channels/yast2.py

Hi there,

to prevent smart from crashing in yast2.py in case of an obscure failure 
while downloading the metadata files, I'v added the attached patch to our 
smart package. This fixes 
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=185562

Please apply this patch to trunk to get it into 0.42.
