Any progress on the endless loop issue?

Hi,

first of all: hello, this is my first post here, and congratulations,
I am impressed with the idea of smart and would like to make it my primary
tool very much.

One thing that bothers me most is the issue http://tracker.labix.org/issue12
that has also happened to me - while urpmi may need some time to compute
particular actions, it never freezes like smart does, eating up all CPU.
Is anyone investigating it or is it a "Works for me" thing?
