When deciding what/whether to update from evolving repositories, it is desirable 
to distinguish what has been added in recent times. I generally find myself 
opening a ftp repos first with gftp, as that enables sorting by date, then 
opening/updating smart as appropriate.

Can you provide a view alternative which shows the items sorted by date?
Maybe use the install-date for the rpm database channel?
