These are possible fixes for the problem. If you're using an older
version, you'll have to understand what they do, and port them.

Have you seen the traffic of that mailing list lately? :-)

As far as Smart is concerned, it's a problem in SuSE only. Also
notice that the patch I've sent to the list is not fixing any
problem on Smart. It's changing the implementation so that we
don't touch the real problem.
