Yes but I have to say I'm quite happy with a workaround in smart.
That's sufficient. Of course, it rather has an incidence on the source code but I guess Gustavo
won't integrate it and leave it as a patch.
I'll just have to maintain the patch over time, whenever changes are made to that part of smart
(which - I suppose - is rather unlikely, it's low-level rpm stuff).
As soon as my smart-0.40-14 RPM is synced (the one with that patch), I'll spread the word in my blog
and the opensuse mailing-lists, asking for testers. That has been quite successful up to now.
We'll see what the results shall be and hopefully that's fixed for good now ;)
(any volunteer to add yast2 repository support into smart ? ;))
