Thank you very much for bringing this discussion here. This is certainly
something I want Smart to be able to handle, so it's good to have an open
reference in the tracker.

I don't think we'll be able to come up with a generic way to do this, since this
is largely policy-dependent. But it must have the necessary hooks to plug a
policy which knows how to do it.
