Even if this discussion should be held on SUSE mailing list, don't
forget 2 things:

- The more alien packages (that didn't come from official sources) the
more you're near to have problems.
- From 10.0 to 10.2 is a big jump. Are you sure it will work on such
older proc? Specially because of the SMP kernel (that is the default,
and doesn't come with any UP kernel).
