Sorry, am I blind. I can't see that 41% :-)

%MEM goes from 28.2 to 27.8 which isn't a 40%. I think you're looking at the 
CPU usage.

[root at mail ~]# smart query | wc -l
9117

P.D.: This data is from a server I have at work, but I also have the same 
problems with my home PC.
