[issue106] Gtk warning converting GtkTreeView to GtkRange

When I run the smart gui, I get loads of repeated messages like this:
(smart:10463): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: invalid cast from `GtkTreeView' to
`GtkRange'
They seem to happen particularly when updating channels etc

This is on FC4 with smart 0.41 from dries' rpm repository (but had the same
problem with earlier versions)

Using pygtk2 2.6.2 and gtk 2.6.10
