[issue34] rpm-md use is VERY SLOW

OK, reproduced on a slow maschine with only 256M of ram and 500 MHZ CPU. My
guess would be that this is mainly due to the fact that smart does all the stuff
in memory and the decompressed metadata set of the Factory tree is ~260M =>
heavy swapping. However, yum does a better job in accomplishing the same job on
that maschine. I'll try to look into this sometime next week.
