your python-gtk is out of date, and per my howto, i stated, that you need
current python-gtk for smart-gui. the current python-gtk is located in the gnome
update repo.

python-gtk
Version: 2.6.2-3. however you will need to add the gnome suplimental repo to
upgrade your python-gtk. 

this is not a bug.
