Hi,
I just discovered smart and it looks really very good. I have it
compiled for FC5 on an AMD64 as the precompiled version wont run.
However, compilation went without a problem. If somebody tells me how to
package it into a .rpm I will do it and send the result to the list.
Until now I used yum and as control interface webmin. Now smart seem to
fulfill all my wishes.
However, as I'm new I have a (presumably not so smart) question with
respect to channels and mirrors. Can I copy the information in the .repo
files in /etc/yum.repos.d into the channel window in the gui or is this
completely ludicrous and likewise the mirror information of the .repo
files in the mirror window (I like copy & paste better than typing: less
possibility of typo's).
Hope somebody will answer me.
