This (*always* versioning the Obsoletes: tags) should become a policy
IMHO. Otherwise it's very difficult to rename previously renamed
packages back to their original name (like kopete ->
kdenetwork3-InstantMessenger -> kopete).

Maybe you remember https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=186079 -
sounds different, but is basically the same bug.
