Running 0.50rc1 'smart --gui'. Didn't like the colors
gkrellm showed me.
While two (large) rpm files are being downloaded, top shows me
that smart is eating up close to 700,000 CPU cycles per second.
With my slow dial-up line, the downloads will take 2.5 hours.
That's about SIX BILLION CPU cycles in total (used by smart
merely while *displaying* the progress of these downloads).
As I said -- bloat.
