There is no need to ask SUSE.

People should simply not use the same repo setup that everybody else uses.

It seems that the user has some sort of preconfigured smart package.
This means that he is using a mirror setup which is identical to what
thousands of other people use.

This can never work. Use a mirror instead of anything that ends in
opensuse.org. The best mirror setup is one that does not have any
opensuse.org server in it, and the best mirror is one that nobody knows.

In the original post I can see that the user uses ftp.opensuse.org.
Don't do that, it's trivial that this can't work.

The situation will get worse starting today where all the users who
don't know what a mirror is want to download 5 x 700 MB Beta2 ISOs from
ftp.opensuse.org.
