How are you integrating it? Calling Smart as a module from inside your
program? Or parsing the output of the commands?

If you're calling it as module, you can check the showChangeSet code on
smart/interfaces/text/interface.py.

If you're parsing the output, "smart install pkg --explain" would do the
trick.
