Yast update format supported?

It has had its time, it is much too slow, comparing with smart...
The option to search and find packages is much better than in smart...

If there might be a possibility to improve this, I think there is no
need for Yast anymore...

Synaptic also has a good way to search and find....

What do you think ? No option to put some energy in it?
I think this is about the only thing about smart that could be improved,
   it works good, secure and very fast...
If the PC hangs or crashes during updating or upgrading, nothing is
lost, and smart continues where it stopped...the best updater i have
seen until now..
