- *some* yast2 channels (used by SUSE) do provide filelists (in
ARCHIVES.gz), but (a) this is optional (most SUSE channels have it, but
most 3rd party yast2 channels don't) and (b) ARCHIVES.gz is very large.
The one from factory is ~380 MB uncompressed.
- rpm-md channels (used by Fedora and SUSE) do provide filelists (in
filelists.xml.gz), it seems that smart does not use this information. I
don't know why, but there must be reasons (maybe performance-related).
