smart local mirror

Hi,

I manage a network with more and more computer with openSUSE and I use smart 
to install/upgrade these boxes.

I want to use rsync to make local mirrors of the smart channels and then 
configure the openSUSE boxes for using these local channels to preserve the 
bandwith of the Internet access. 

Is it possible ?
Can someone give me an example of rsync script for mirroring smart 
repositery ?
