What does all this mean?

I just switched on the computer, smart updated the channels and showed
that there were new upgrades, I started smart to do the upgrades and I
got the following on the screen:

Traceback (most recent call last):

Now all smart does is give me this message everytime I run it to do the
upgrades :-( .

What does the above mean, what is wrong and how to overcome the problem?

Cheers.
