'freeze'd smart ?

The first Ark release of Smart will be ready shortly, as soon as the 
current build server gets to it (a day or so I hope).  I am looking into 
repackaging Python also; and in the meantime, Bero (the Ark 
distromeister) pointed out that as a system repair tool, Smart would 
benefit by being built with a standalone option.  So I found the 
'freeze' component of Python.  Would there be interest here in results 
of 'freeze'ing Python?
