The yum presto deltarpm server has already failed because of ENOSPC
on server,
and there are further flaws with verify flags at
     https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=235353
that need to be factored in as well (fixed in rpm this mornining).

So its a bit early yet, deltarpms have yet to prove out as a reliable
distribution
mechanism.

The fundamental flaw with deltarpm distribution is the combinatorial
failure
attempting to keep track of all possible before->after deltas.

I'd suggest that its a bit early to attempt deltarpms, and that there
are better schemes
using rdiff than xdelta.

rdiff has the advantage that daltas can be computed without both
"before" and "after"
packages being coresident on the same machine.

Gustavo: I'm still ready to try rdiff 3-way handshake channel when
you are.
