Is it possible to use smart to do a Distributionupgrade that involves
additional repositories ?
Is it possible to upgrade fedora-4-{freshrpms/livna/dries}-packages to
the corresponding packages from fedora-6-{freshrpms/livna/dries}-channel
(In general: Can I upgrade a package to a version that comes from a
different channel or is channel-priority only for new installations ?)
After having done an upgrade install from "Fedora 4" using a "Fedora
6"-DVD, I used smart-0.50 with fc6-channels to assure
system-consistency: livna-xine is removed in "fix all problems" without
offering the fc6-version.
A manual smart upgrade 'a52dec*' (fc4) would not find avaiable
'a52dec*fc6*.rpm either. Is this by design or mistake ?
Thanks for your comments
