Python development environment

My "environment" is probably not the answer you expect.  I use my
preferred editor (vim) and a terminal.  I'm sure that other people
will be able to help if you want something more "integrated" than
that.  I've heard Eclipse works well if adding the PyDev extension,
and there are other solutions such as Komodo.
