[issue294] smart --gui and sudo

Easy to reproduce. In my case, I edited /etc/sudoers, and commented the lines
regarding "env_keep", and had "env_reset" activated. This way, sudo deletes the
DISPLAY var, and produces the crash.

So, edit the sudoers file and check for it. If there is nothing mentioned
regarding env_keep, add this line:

Defaults    env_keep = "HOSTNAME"

Then try again.
