Yes, it's a bit of insanity to say the least! It's always guesswork to
figure out if a .9 is higher than a .52 (which is definately higher than a
.5 in any case) and if a .100 would be called a 1.00 or is actually a .100.
Gnome follows this to ridiculous levels sometimes.
