I reported this on the fedora-kde list and was told to 'file a bug
against smart'. This probably means 'in the Fedora system' but I'll air
it here.
k3b and k3b-libs depend on each other. Smart reports as follows:
> Found unbreakable loops:
> k3b-1.0.5-6.fc10 at x86_64 [R] -> k3b-libs-1.0.5-6.fc10 at x86_64 [R] ->

'yum install k3b' worked. smart 'check installed packages' gives

Similarly with an attempt to install mythtv from atrpms:
> Found unbreakable loops:
> perl-XML-LibXML-1:1.66-2.fc10 at x86_64 [I] -> perl-XML-SAX-0.16-5.fc9 at noarch [I] -> perl-XML-LibXML-1:1.66-2.fc10 at x86_64 [I]

-also followed after 'ok' by exit from smart.
