Well, it is a surge in activity indeed. :-)  That specific part of
it just happens to not be so interesting.  The new bugs created
in Launchpad and their handling are more exciting though.

Anders is also pushing a number of branches up and queuing them for
review.  Hopefully we'll get these integrated very soon too.
