Overview about smart classes/functions etc.

Hello there,

because we are thinking about developing our own smart PyQT4 based
interface, is there any doumentation overview about smarts classes?

Beginning with what needs to be called to get the package lists and so on?
Investigating smart itself isn' t really fun!

And yes, i know there is a qt3 interface in development, but we really
want to develop this in qt4. Perhaps the smart community might profit from
this too!?
