The downside of the Qt interface is that it doubles the code needed
for the interface (once for GTK+, once for Qt). For no immediate gain.

And it doesn't help that PyQt4 doesn't have any "Qt3Compat" features
or that it is still licensed as GPL even though the library is now 
LGPL.

Thank you for testing. You can also open bugs if you need to attach:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/smart/+filebug (also for any non-gui bugs)

Supposedly only clicking the checkbox should do that, while clicking
the column should either do nothing or expand/collapse the subtrees.
