making smart working in non root mode

Hi guys,
my special use case requires to have separate rpm database accessible by one user (not root obviously). It is hard requirement.

rpm is working quite nice together with dbpath and relocate params.

I would like to use smart to help me with repositories via http. Point smart to home directory was quite easy constant.py. And I also find how to push additional params (dbpath) to rpm - through sysconfig package.

So I tried to set my specific value to config file and find out that it is not simple text file but object dump generated by pickle.

My questions are:
	- what is suggested way setting values for config?
	- anyone have experiences with non root mode for smart?
	- anyone advices/feedback

BTW I tried to search archives as I thought this is not so unique thing and someone else tried before - this page do not exist http://archives.mandrivalinux.com/smart/

Thanks,
Pavel
