Merged upcoming to master, and launchpad to github

Okay, I did some additional testing on Debian and found some minor issues.
Have tagged this as "1.5" now, so if there are any issues it'll be 1.5.1.

Think I merged all the patches that were sent, so will leave it as it is.
As I mentioned earlier, I don't see any good reasons why to use python3...
