Can you do a rpm query on the package to see what it requires.<br><br>rpm -qRp map-devel-2004g_suse-14.rpm   (or whatever the package is called)<br><br>Then do an rpm -qa > packages.txt  and compare the items in the first list with what you have installed.<br>

I'm using smart instead of rug/zmd with SuSE10.1. On this system, plesk 8.4 is installed but we got the same problem with plesk 8.3. Everything works good until we tried to install imap-devel:<br>

If I download the imap-devel.rpm from the repository we can install it without any problems with rpm -ivh ....<br>

Using smart so install the downloaded package leads to the same problem. So I think it isn't a problem with the rpm database but with the way smart handels the dependencies.<br>

Do someone has an idea what the problem is or had the same issue? Do you need more informations? Please let me know.<br>
