<DIV><FONT face=Arial color=#000000 size=2>The translations for Smart that were previously submitted and included with Smart were protected under the same license as Smart (GPL v2). The Launchpad Translations application has recently asked for all translations that it manages to be re-licensed under a BSD license ostensibly to allow the ability for cross-translations between applications in Launchpad.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>However if you have a translation in Smart and don't want it to change from GPL v2 to BSD then please let me know indicating if you are still happy with the translation staying in the distribution under the GPL v2 license. If so the translation will still be distributed with the source but will be removed from Launchpad Translations. There is a deadline of July 31st so please get in touch soon.</FONT></DIV>
