<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I have added another spec file (smart_alt2.spec) based on the original spec file (smart.spec) which demonstrates how the original spec file can be customised easily to meet the requested requirement (less rpm's).</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>By modifying the highly granular original spec file a packager can easily control what gets installed by default closely tailoring the install for a particular distribution (by only installing what is needed for that distro).</FONT></DIV>
