Upgrades with modified archs

Hi,

smart 0.41 (perhaps earlier versions, too) seems not to upgrade to
newer packages if the arch changed. I recently had some firmware
packages that were i386 become noarch and smart's upgrade would try to
update these packages.

User error or should I file it in the tracker?
