[issue4] Freshmeat information is out of date

The project page refers to version info so that users can track updates using
the automatic notification features from freshmeat. Do you really want those to
be removed?

In order to remove some info I need to send an e-mail to fm's managers. I'll
wait for your comments on the above. I can take care of updating it.
