smart fc4->fc5 upgrade does not work

hi,

i tried a fc4 -> fc5 upgrade with smart. it was calculating for ever and 
after 3h my patience run out. (had to install fc5 by disassembling my 
cd-less notebook and installing the harddisk in a normal pc)
