[issue100] --gui crashes after open - v0.41 on mandriva2006

After one or two open "smart-root --gui" with no problem, 3rd and followed
starts crash after open gui and before "update cache" window, with window
"unknown error - close".
Sometimes, the crashes stop after 5, 6, 7 or more tries.
