Notice that Smart currently detects if rpm or dpkg is installed, and
automatically adds the respective channels. This is also detecting
what package manager you already have installed, and grabbing the
channels from it.

Regarding APT and other package managers (also known as dependency
solvers), no, it doesn't do it yet.
