search file list of packages

I have so far not found a smart command to show me
which files are available in what packages.

For example,
    rpm -ql bash
    dpkg -L bash
each provide a list of all files installed by the
"bash" package.
Can smart do this?

Unfortunately this only works for installed packages.
To actually find out which available packages contain
a particular file you have to search on
'packages.debian.org' for debian. I have never found
a way to do this for SuSE/Red Hat rpms.
Does smart provide the ability to do queries like
these?

Thanks,
