j2re install problem

hi all,

when trying to install 2 different j2re versions using smart, it fails 
(channels are rpm-md based)

smart install j2re-1.4.2_06-4.cern j2re-1.4.2_08-fcs

Computing transaction... error: Can't install j2re-1.4.2_08-fcs at i586: it 
can't coexist with j2re-1.4.2_06-4.cern at i386

the _08 version can be seen as an update of the other one, but 
installing them with rpm gives no problem at all.

what is the cause of this? (the differnt architecure tag?)

any help is welcome.
