smart 0.50 stopped working

Not sure just went wrong, but starting today when I start Smart gui or 
shell, just about the time the cache refresh hits about 86% or so, I get 
this traceback, and I get it with 0.50 or 0.42:

Any ideas what I should do?

The one thing I did recently on my system, AMD 64, Suse 10.1, was to 
update Eclipse with the latest version of the Python plugin. Not sure 
why that would affect Smart.
