Hallo, Grant,

It is installed, and it does something in the slackware branch (I don't
understand it, but "smart" works).

Here are the directories

        backends/deb
        backends/rpm
        backends/slack

(with some files inside)

and the files

        backends/__init__.py
        backends/__init__.pyc

        /var/lib/smart/cache

contains more than 4 MByte and dates from today (14:12),

        /var/lib/smart/config

has 1971 bytes and the same timestamp.

Viele Gruesse!
Helmut
