They just said that Smart isn't part of the distribution.  You have to
make them understand that some of the errors you're reporting are not
related to Smart, but to issues in the mirror or the location you're
getting it from.  Any issues that are specific to Smart indeed will be
better received in the place where Smart bugs are tracked.  People
won't be positive towards your bug reports if you just use the "I
don't like that bug tracker so I will report it in an arbitrary place
of my choice" kind of mentality.
