Smart 1.3 hangs on Centos 5.5

That is interesting information, in that it happens with
both 0.52 as well as 1.2 - could you try with 1.4 too ?

Could you post your output of `smart channel --show` and
the name of the package that you were trying to install ?

That would make it easier to reproduce your problem, to see
whether there is a loop or perhaps other problem causing it.
