Smart Installation status

Currently smart provides a progress bar display for each package it is 
downloading from its channels, but when it is then installing those 
packages in Ubuntu it only shows a progress bar for the entire 
installation. Is it possible to get individual progress bars for each 
package being installed under Ubuntu in the same way that smart displays 
them for rpm based distros like Mandriva?
