[issue197] Smart Fails on Segmentation Faults

Pascal, I am experiencing some odd behaviour.  Perhaps rm -v /var/lib/rpm/__db*
permanently removed the installed list and it is not rebuilt. So perhaps my
problem of "segmentation faults" is not solved at all?

For example, in checking my version of smart, smart told me there was no such
package as smart installed. So I ran the following and smart confirmed this:
ant01:~ # smart reinstall smart
Loading cache...
Updating cache...                                     
########################################################################### [100%]
warning: 'smart' matches no installed packages                                 
                                                         
Computing transaction...
ant01:~ # 

I looked at smart --gui and all the packages were listed but none shown as
installed.  So I also ran the following query and it showed no packages installed:
ant01:~ # smart query --installed
Loading cache...
Updating cache...                                     
########################################################################### [100%]
ant01:~ #
