Dear list,
I am experiencing a problem with my RPM5 system: Neither installed nor
available packages are being shown or recognized by smart.
This is my configuration:
{'channels': {'gnyu': {'disabled': False,
'manual': False,
'name': 'GNyU Linux',
'path': '/srv/packages/RPMS/',
'recursive': True,
'removable': False,
'type': 'rpm-dir'},
'rpm-sys': {'name': 'RPM System', 'type': 'rpm-sys'},
'slack-sys': {'name': 'Slackware System', 'type': 'slack-sys'}},
'last-update': 1247137319.1835859}
I'm building my cache using "smart update", but it keeps saying "Channels
have no new packages", and using smart query, smart info, or even "smart
install" does not find the packages.
What can I do to debug that problem? Has anybody hints for me on where to
start searching? Can I cause smart to print out debugging info about its
cache updating when running "smart update"? "smart --log-level=debug update"
does not yield any additional information.
Thanks in advance for any help!
